Safari Boat | Blue Shark

The Boat

Blue Shark is a traditional Maldivian safari boat and the perfect boat for surf trips. It has the ideal size, offers plenty of space on board with its several decks, is well equipped and maintained. The professional and friendly crew is always there for you.

Size: 29 meters long x 8.5 meters wide
Cabins: 9 cabins with twin beds and air-conditioning. Rooms are fitted with private toilets, shower and lavabo, wardrobe, book shelf, chair and small table. The interior design is light and the materials are hygienic like the wooden parquet.
Crew: 9 persons plus surf guide.
Internet: Free Wifi for Internet access (fair use applies).
Common areas: Large living room, several open and closed decks with chairs, several reading areas
Dhoni: The safari boat comes with one of the best surf dhonys of the Maldives, with plenty of space to store your quiver, you material, to watch the surf, and is an excellent fishing boat.
Dhingy: The safari boat also comes with a Dhingy for short trips to and from the surf breaks.

Trip 1 | Male to Southern Atoll | 12 March – 22 March 2025

Description

This trip starts in Male and ends in the Huvadhoo Atoll. On the first week’s trip we will surf some small perfect waves – ideal to get fit. On this trip you have the opportunity to get to know surf spots in the South Male Atoll, Vaavu Atoll, Meemu Atoll, Thaa Atoll, Laamu Atoll, Huvadhoo Atoll.

There will be two surf coaches on this trip. Ideal for intermediates and beginners who have already a little bit of experience.

We will pick up at the Male airport on the start date.

At the end of the trip, we will drop you off at the airport in the Huvadhoo Atoll, where you will take a domestic plane to Male. Your international flight should not be earlier than 7pm on Saturday.
